In our Sikh pilgrimage tour Pakistan, you will visit the birth place of Sikh religion, Nankana Sahib and its 7 associated gurdwaras, Gurdwara Panja sahib, Kartarpur, the several gurdwaras situated within Lahore and many other religious and cultural sites. Our 10 Days Sikh Pilgrimage Tour offers a spiritual journey to purify one’s soul and submit themselves to God. Pakistan is rich with Sikh heritage and by some accounts, ninety percent of all holy Sikh shrines are in Pakistan including some of the most sacred and historical gurdwaras on the sub-continent. The founder of Sikh religion, Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in present day Pakistan, spent most of his life time here and demised in Kartarpur, close to the Indian border. There are so many Gurdwaras and other Sikh historical places spread across a vast region that one needs quite a long tour to visit all of them. We have designed the 10 day yatra tour to ensure we encompass all the revered sites at an enjoyable pace with reduced travel time and shorter expedition days. This tour also allows an opportunity to take in some additional heritage sites The tour starts upon arrival at Lahore airport. Your guide will meet and greet you at the airport before transferring you to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time and time permitting, an afternoon lunch at local restaurant and/or an orientation tour of Lahore city. Night stay in Lahore. Early morning trip to visit the several Gurdwaras within Lahore including Gurdwara Dera Sahib Sri Arjun Dev Ji.  Afternoon trip to Mian Meer Darbar followed by a short drive to Wagha border to see the flag ceremony. Overnight stay in Lahore. There is a full day dedicated for the visit to Nankana Sahib and the 7 Gurdwaras located in close proximity.  Nankana Sahib is a city and capital of the Nankana Sahib district in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located about 80 km (50 mi) west of Lahore and named after the first Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who was born in the city and first began preaching here. Gurdwara Janam Asthan, also referred to as Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, is a highly revered gurdwara that was built at the site where Guru Nanak Dev Ji was believed to be born.  This would be followed by a short drive to visit Gurdwara Sacha Sauda. Another full day is dedicated to the visit to Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Narowal, located on the bank of Ravi river and close to the India-Pakistan border. Guru Nanak founded Kartarpur in 1504 AD and established the first Sikh commune. The name Kartarpur means “place of God”.  The Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib was built at the location where Guru Nanak is believed to have died.  After visiting Kartarpur Sahib, you will return to Lahore for night stay. Another day is dedicated to the visit to Eimanabad which holds three important historical shrines  – Gurdwara Rori Sahib, Gurdwara Chakki Sahib and Gurdwara Khuhi Bhai Lalo. On the return journey a short detour through Gurdwara Babe di Ber. The next day you will be heading towards Islamabad, via the UNESCO world heritage site of Khatas Raj. After spending the night in Islamabad, the journey shall take us to Hassan Abdal to visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib, where the handprint of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Ji, is imprinted on a boulder at the Gurdwara. The next stop is Peshawar where a day shall be spent exploring Peshawar’s gurdwaras and heritage sites. The penultimate day shall be used as relaxing, shopping. We will transfer you to Islamabad/Lahore International Airport for your flight back home.
